Hello, I'm Hernanda Cahyo Kurniawan

I'm a Senior Front End Developer based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia , with over 8 years of hands-on experience in the web industry.

My passion lies at the intersection of technology and design. I specialize in building beautiful, responsive, and high-performance web applications that solve real-world problems and provide an exceptional user experience. I'm an expert in the modern JavaScript ecosystem, particularly Vue.js 3 and Nuxt.js, and I love bringing designs to life with fluid web animations using GSAP and Three.js.

My career has been a journey of consistent growth, from building full-stack applications as a freelancer to leading a developer team at a fast-paced software house.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

In my most recent role as a Front End Developer Lead at PT. SoftwareSeni, I had the privilege of managing and supervising a team of four front-end developers. My responsibilities went beyond code; I managed staff performance reviews, planned for their career growth, conducted code reviews, and assisted in brainstorming solutions for complex features and bugs. I believe in building up a team's skills and fostering an environment of open communication and teamwork.

Client-Facing & Technical Expertise

I've had extensive experience working directly with high-tier clients. I served as a dedicated Fullstack Developer for LJ Hooker Real Estate, where I contributed to their corporate site and the websites of over 400 offices. This involved creating fully custom, modular components from scratch using HubSpot CMS, JavaScript, and SASS.

I also supervised the development of a new WordPress Gutenberg theme using React.js and TypeScript and provided high-level website support for major clients like Stone Real Estate and Upstate Property Agency.

Foundational Skills

My journey began with freelance web development, where I built full-stack applications from the ground up. This included projects like a network inventory system for an ISP (using Codeigniter) and a Point of Sale (POS) system (using Laravel and Vue 2). This early experience gave me a solid foundation in problem-solving and understanding the entire web stack.
